It's a cricket-lover’s dream line-up when it comes to after-dinner speaking – two of the most renowned raconteurs in the game together at the same event.
They are former England players David Lloyd and Derbyshire’s own Geoff Miller and they will be at Belper Town’s Nailers bar and function room on Wednesday, October 18.
While Lloyd, known as Bumble, is one of the most recognisable and respected voices in cricket commentary, Miller, who was the England selector for three winning Ashes series, as they rose to the top of the international rankings, has carved a successful career as a speaker with a stack of anecdotes about the game.
They will come together for a question and answer afternoon.
The doors open at 1.30pm for a 3pm start. Tickets are £65,or £600 for a table of 10 but anyone booking a table before the end of September can do so at a reduced price of £500.
Tickets can be booked by calling Paul on 07970 634670.
