Nailers plea for volunteers

2 weeks ago By David Laughlin

Belper Town Football Club has issued a plea to local community for volunteers to come forward to help in running the club.

Club spokesman Dave Laughlin said, “Everyone knows that we experienced a very poor season last time but we are in process of appointing a new football management team and are now moving forward with a fresh tide of enthusiasm.

“There’s an often used quotation that says ‘volunteers don't get paid, not because they're worthless, but because they're priceless’ and this is exactly how we feel at Belper Town.

“We need people to assist in a variety of ways at the club including, stewarding, maintenance, cleaning, hospitality, matchday duties, and many more.

“We can provide training and can also guarantee an enjoyable and rewarding time for people with an interest in sport or just wanting get involved in a worthwhile community organisation”.

Individuals can register their interest by telephoning Dave Laughlin on 07768 010604 or by contacting him via email at info@belpertownfc.co.uk
