Do you want to study, train and play football full time for a semi-professional club at a football academy that is an alternative to going to college?

The Belper Town Academy are hosting trials in the forthcoming half term holidays for anyone aged 16-18 (on September 1st 2016) who wants to progress with their education and develop their football from September 2016.

Tuesday 31st May, 11am - 1pm at Belper Leisure Centre, Belper, DE56 0DA (3G pitch)

Thursday 2nd June, 5pm - 7pm at Belper Leisure Centre, Belper, DE56 0DA (3G pitch)

The Academy has been a major success in its first year with our partners the NPL Football Academy.

The team led by Tom Donlon, finished runners up in the league and Scott Taylor became the club’s first football graduate when he made his debut for the first team as a sixteen year old at Rugby Town in August.

More success on the football side of the programme followed with captain Sam Weston crowned the NPL Football Academy ‘Player of the Year’ beating 200 other students to the prestigious accolade and he also was voted onto the ‘Team of the Year’ along with Josh Craddock.

Taylor, Weston, Josh Bullock and Dan Watson have also been selected to take part in the NPL Football Academy inter-league team in games against professional football clubs Oldham Athletic and Accrington Stanley.
