The Nailers go into their Boxing Day fixture looking to extend a run of 10 games unbeaten; with last week’s win over Romulus extending the run even further.
This sequence has seen the Nailers climb up to 9th in the league; only two points away from the much-desired play off places.
This run has been underpinned by the recent form of the Belper strikeforce; with Alex Steadman, Ruben Wiggins-Thomas and Evan Garnett all contributing goals, something that will need to be maintained if the Nailers are to make a push towards the play off places at the end of the season.
Monday's visitors are certainly going to prove a tough test for Belper, with Sheffield currently sitting in 4th place after an impressive first half of the season.
The oldest football club in the world are also currently sporting an impressive unbeaten run; with them not experiencing a loss in their last 13 outings.
The Nailers defence will certainly be wary of Sheffield FC forward Alec Denton going into the game. The ex-Rotherham United forward has netted 10 times this season and has been the leading force for Sheffield this season.
Another player that will have all eyes on him is former Belper shot stopper Danny Haystead who returns to the Marston’s Stadium for the first time since joining Sheffield earlier this month, unless suspension keeps out the popular 'keeper.
The game will certainly be a tough test for the Nailers but one that they will be looking to get all three points out of as they continue their quest to climb the table.
