Speaking to Belper Town FC, Aaron Webster said "Yesterday (Saturday 17th February) I was very pleased with the overall performance. If you're disappointed not to beat 2nd in the league, then something must have been good".

"I thought going forward we were a threat throughout. It was probably the best attacking performance over 90 minutes since I've been in charge. Dylan Garnett and Cameron Steele produced very good wing play and were constant menaces to Bedworth's fullbacks".

"We had to defend well at times as you'd expect against a team high up in the table. The goal was a little disappointing with Joe Hunt having a freak incident with the corner flag. If he tried to clear the ball in the same scenario as the goal came he wouldn't probably kick the corner flag out of the ground in another 100 tries so it was a tad unlucky".

"A lot people question the height and physicality of our team even myself sometimes. But in this game we were physically smaller and shorter by a huge margin, but we competed superbly throughout and should have won so is size the be all and end all?"

"Overall very good. A few bits of fine tuning in the next few weeks or so and we should be ok. Now we need to take confidence from this game and take it into future fixtures".

Webster spoke highly of Sam Birks and will enjoy the competition from Alex Steadman who is fresh from his injury problems.

"I bought in Alex Steadman who's had hamstring issues of late for Sam Birks. Sam's done really well for us since he's come back into the team since the Chesterfield game and has been rewarded with a pay increase which he's thoroughly deserved, So to have stiff competition between them two is great, plus now we have Anton to add to that.

The Belper Town manager also praised young 17-year-old keeper Jack Livesey who is on loan from Burton Albion.

"I liked the way Jack Livesey played. I can see his confidence growing in every game he plays. His decision to punch on a regular occasion shows me he's learning the level quickly. His decision making and communication for a young keeper is at a very high level for his age. He's a young intelligent boy who could go on to have a great career.

Aaron spoke highly of the impact the training sessions have had on the squad and the difference it has made within matches.

"Training has been at a very high standard and the lads transferred that into the game as I asked. Belief has been an issue, but I think that is slowly creeping away".

Aaron Webster will be hopeful of building on the performance as the Nailers travel to Carlton Town next Saturday.
