Read what Aaron Webster had to say before his Nailers side play both Romulus and Sheffield FC this easter weekend.

Ahead of the weekend's fixtures, Webster says "2 big games for us in the space of 3 days. Looking at the table it’s too easy to say it should be 6 points gained. Romulus gave us a very hard game 10 days ago with 10 men for an hour of play and Sheffield have had 2 very good back to back wins. So they’ll both think they can beat us too. It’s up to us to not let that happen".

"We’ll take it one game at a time. I’ll pick what I think is the best squad and team available for Saturday’s game vs Romulus. Then we’ll see after who’s in the best condition, form, availability etc for the bank holiday game".

"We’ll be going out to win both games and if we are on it, confident and in a resilient mood from going 4 games with no loss then we have a chance to do so".

"The Romulus game probably has a bit more magnitude to it because we only played against them last week. But we’ve got to play with our heads, not get caught up in the fight that they maybe want due to what happened last week and the delicate position they hold in the table. So mentally before anything we need to be at it".

"Only 3/4 weeks ago I was looking at the table and the reading weren’t very pleasant. But we are unbeaten in March so we have probably taken a little bit of pressure of ourselves".

"These 2 games could’ve had a lot more riding on it in terms of us being caught up in a relegation dogfight. We still aren’t 100% safe but we aren’t looking over our shoulder like we were a month ago".

When speaking about the injuries and suspensions that have impacted the first team squad, Webster says "Jack Hallahan is suspended (very harshly) for both games, Jake Carlisle is suspended for the Romulus game. So it gives a chance to others to stake their claim to be in the starting 11. Alex Steadman is available again (neck/back) , Still no Leandro Browne (toe)".
