Luke is a much travelled 27-year-old striker who has given service across a number of clubs in the East and West Midlands. He signed for the Nailers in February 2016 from Loughborough Dynamo, to whom he had joined at the start of the 2015/16 season. He started his career at Gresley Rovers in 2008 but then enjoyed spells at Atherstone Town, Loughborough Dynamo, Redditch United, Rushall Olympic and Romulus over the next four-year period. He moved to Quorn in 2012 but then opted to move to Coalville Town shortly afterwards before a further switch to Sutton Coldfield Town followed in 2013. He rejoined Gresley FC in 2014 and stayed a season before his most recent switch to Loughborough Dynamo.
