An experienced midfield player, Sam joined the Nailers in December 2015 from Derbyshire rivals, Gresley FC. He has enjoyed a fruitful career centred on non-league clubs in the Leicestershire and South Derbyshire area, starting his career at Quorn and spending three seasons there before joining Shepshed Dynamo. A move to Loughborough Dynamo followed in September 2013 before a spell at Coalville Town from January 2015. His time at Coalville was relatively short and he moved on to Gresley FC at the start of the 2015/16 season. Comfortable on the ball and with a potent free kick in his armoury, Sam joins former team mate Eric Graves in the Nailers midfield.
