Belper Town Football Club is looking to recruit a first team kit manager.

The post holder will be in charge of preparing matchday kit for the first team. This will comprise home and away team kits for the Club’s first team, including shirts, shorts, socks, training tee shirts, warm up tops and training bibs.

Key responsibilities:

  • The Kit Manager shall be responsible for the receipt, safe keeping, issue and return to stock of all playing and training kit
  • On receipt of playing/training kit from the suppliers, this will be counted, sorted and stored by type of kit and by colour and size.
  • Shirts, warm-up tops and training tee shirts will be numbered.
  • Playing and training kit shall be stored in a secure location, with access only granted to the Kit Manager and the Club Secretary.
  • The Kit Manager shall maintain a record of playing and training kit taken from stock prior to each match (home and away) and the quantity returned to stock after laundering.
  • For away matches, the kit manager shall prepare and pack the required kit in sufficient time ahead of transportation to the venue.
  • The Kit Manager shall be responsible for counting all playing kit at the end of each match. Any deficiencies in the quantity of playing kit shall be reported immediately to the Club Secretary
  • The Kit Manager shall be responsible for ensuring that all the kit is sufficiently washed, dried and folded ready for matches.

Abilities/Skills/Knowledge:

  • Hard working, committed, enthusiastic and passionate
  • Ability to work well individually and within a team environment.
  • Good timekeeping skills.
  • Able to work on own initiative.
  • Car driver with own vehicle essential

Expenses

  • Travelling expenses will be paid to the post holder when on vehicle is used to transport playing kit to away matches
