Programme Editor and Video Cameraman Vacancies

2 years ago By David Laughlin

Belper Town Football Club is looking for a Programme Editor and Video Cameraman to join our media team for the 2016/17 season.

If you wish to develop your journalism skills, possibly as part of your university or media studies career, please get in touch with us.

Programme Editor

This post is on a voluntary basis and is ideal for someone who is interested in getting into media work, be it as a journalism student or otherwise.

Responsible for every home matchday programme, the role brings with it a lot of editorial flexibility.

While there are aspects that have to be included, there is scope to include other items that would help to improve the content.

Although the role is unpaid, the Programme Editor will enjoy free entry to both home and away games, as well as free travel to away matches.

Our only requirements are that you are enthusiastic, comfortable with deadlines, able to proof read copy and can maintain and hopefully improve the current standard of the programme.

Nailers TV

Nailers TV was a successful new project for the club last season but we are now looking for a new camera operator / video editor for the forthcoming season.

If you are you're looking to obtain material for your portfolio or just have an interest in sports videography, then Nailers TV will provide a perfect opportunity to polish your skills.

These include filming first team matches, player and manager press interviews, editing and presenting your completed output onto our club website and social media.

We can provide equipment if you do not have access to your own.

To apply, or to find out more about these roles, please e-mail dave.laughlin@btinternet.com
