Belper got off a perfect start with a goal after just 4 minutes when Gianluca Gandola latched onto a great through ball from Ethan Camm and knocked the ball confidently into the net.
But parity was secured 7 minutes later when Tom Rodgers conceded a penalty which was converted by Sutton skipper, Yasin Peart.
Belper began to take a grip on proceedings and it was no surprise when they went ahead again midway through the half.
Dan Watson created the opportunity when he a launched the ball over the Sutton defence where Gandola held off a defender and set up Scott Taylor to send a delightful lob over ‘keeper Oliver Horne.
Four minutes later and Belper extended their lead when Ethan Camm fired in a low drive from 18 yards to put the Nailers firmly in the driving seat.
And it was 4-1 after 33 minutes when Scott Taylor calmly took the ball around the goalkeeper to bag his second goal of the match.
The scored remained static until Belper found another goal after 62 minutes.
A whipped-in corner made it all the way through to the back post where Scott Taylor was able to finish from close range for his hat trick.
Then, good work out wide by Scott Taylor saw him send in a great ball across the penalty area where Josh Bullock was on hand to finish in some style to make the score 6-1 in Belper’s favour.
The scoring was completed after 79 minutes when a long free kick from Josh Craddock picked out Josh Bullock who scored his second goal and Belper’s seventh as Sutton Coldfield’s defence yielded again to the incessant pressure.
