Kings Lynn’s captain Fryatt broke the deadlock just before the half hour mark, fellow centre half David Bridges crossed the ball from the left and Fryatt found himself unmarked at the back post to emphatically volley the ball home off of the cross bar.
Garnett sent the game to a replay ten minutes before the final whistle, substitute Isaac Minott controlled a long ball, turned and played the ball in behind for Garnett who drilled the ball under Alex Street in the away goal.
Belper piled the pressure on in the final stages but could not force a winner, Jonathan Williams had couple of dangerous free-kicks kept out by goalkeeper, Street.
Kings Lynn had a great chance to secure their place in the next round just before the Nailers equalised, substitute Jacek Zielonka glanced a header just wide from Michael Clunans free-kick.
The away side had a good opportunity to double their lead five minutes after opening the scoring, Jack Friend slipped forward Sam Mulready through on goal but his left footed drive did not trouble Danny Haystead in the Nailer’s goal.
The hosts biggest threat of the first half was long range strikes from Williams and Hemagou, both seeing fizzing shots just fly over the cross bar.
Generous defending from Nailers centre-half duo Ross Parker and Phil Watt, gifted a chance to forward Mulready just minutes into the second half but he could only blast the over.
Minott replaced Connor Johnson just after the hour mark and proved to be a handful for Kings Lynn defenders, he muscled off Bridges to create a chance for himself on the edge of the box, ‘Keeper Street did brilliantly to keep hold of his powerful strike from the edge of the box.
Clunan’s 25-yard free-kick had to be tipped over the bar by Haystead in the final minutes, as Kings Lynn took advantage of a breather from the home side’s pressure.
Belper will now travel to The Walks Stadium on Tuesday night for the replay with a place in the next round of the FA Trophy on the line.
