Wiggins-Thomas was involved in all three goals and had an air of confidence around him for the entire game which seemed to rub off on the players around him.

The striker opened the scoring in spectacular fashion. His effort found the top right just before the break.

He was involved again for the second; his shot hit the post but bounced back to Alex Steadman who took his opportunity well and doubled the lead for the Nailers.

Wiggins-Thomas sealed the victory for his side with a brilliant finish into the bottom left.

Laurence Constable played a fantastic ball to the forward who took his chance excellently and secured all three points.

This came after an Anthony Malbon penalty had made the game rather tense for Belper.

Gerome Palmer had brought down a Kidsgrove player in the box and the referee instantly pointed to the spot.

Kidsgrove started to pile the pressure on the Nailers; with them having their best spell of the game after this.

But the second goal of the afternoon from Wiggins-Thomas made sure that the Nailers got the result they deserved.

Some fans may have been concerned going into the fixture with Phil Watt and Evan Garnett both missing through suspension. But the Belper players had enough to get past what could have been a tricky opponent.

Kidsgrove are the 3rd team this season that Belper have managed to beat in both legs of league fixtures so far, this season; with Rugby Town and Loughborough Dynamo being the others, as the Nailers beat Kidsgrove in the first game of the season, also winning 3-1.

The Nailers will be looking to continue their recent run of good form as they travel to face Sheffield FC on Easter Monday.
