
Club Chairman Ian Woodward opened the evening by saying thank you to the numerous volunteers who help the club on match days and in other capacities.
He also gave specific thanks to the increased numbers of supporters who have come to the Raygar Stadium to cheer on the Nailers as they strive to secure a play-off place.
Lee Attenborough also thanked all the people who made the club as successful as it is and then announced his choice for Manager’s Player of the Year and chose his captain Jack Broadhead as the recipient of the award.
Broadhead remained on the stage to announce the Player’s Player of the year, and it was his defensive colleague Ioan Evans who stepped up to collect the award.
The Supporters' Player of the Year award went to Ben Rhodes who was a clear winner in the vote and was presented with his award by supporter Mike Ward.
The chairman, Ian Woodward made the final award of the evening to Chris Nelson for his continuous efforts in taking on any job requested of him and his overall contribution to the club.
The chairman closed the evening saying he hoped that there would be another celebration in the near future if the Nailers could clinch promotion through the play offs.
