The signing was made in the wake of the club's promotion to the Northern Premier League Premier Division, achieved through the end-of-season play-offs.

Black was thrilled to sign the new deal, saying, " Thank you to Ian Woodward (Chairman) and the directors for backing me since I first came to the club and now continuing to do the same.

"I will continue to work hard to keep the club progressing and to repay the faith that the club has in me."
