Fr Bruce Johnson spoke to the club's website immediately following his appoinntment, saying, "I just want to say hello and introduce myself as your new chaplain for this season

"I am Fr. Bruce and my church is Christchurch which overlooks the stadium.

"Thank you for allowing me to be a part of the team. Its a real honour and privilege.

"Please do not hesitate to come and speak to me anytime, I am always up for a cuppa or beer, and yes, we do drink beer.
