The manager has reiterated the how pleased he is that the club are able to attract players which have played at such levels.
Stating that “Gratton will be joining us from Farsley Celtic hungry for first team football”
Kittrick added “bringing players in from Conference North sides with experience in higher leagues is a massive step in the right direction for the club and we hope to add more players with that level of ability, experience and determination.”
“it is a great move for a young lad who is hungry to play and suits the style we are trying to develop to move the club up the table”
Gratton came through the ranks at Rotherham United joining the club aged 9. In 2020 the young striker had his first loan move to Scarborough Athletic before his time with the club was curtailed by injury.
In August 2021 he joined Guiseley on loan, during which he was allowed to be a part of the Rotherham United squad for the EFL Trophy, making his first team debut for the club as a substitute in a 6-0 victory over Doncaster Rovers in September 2021. His loan spell with Guiseley ended in January 2022.
Gratton then joined Farsley Celtic on loan helping the side avoid relegation.
