A recognised left back has been on manager Lee Attenborough’s wish list for some time and Paulo Aguas' arrival means the club have finally filled a long outstanding vacancy.

The 21-year-old who featured for the Nailers in the latter half of the 2022/23 NPL Premier Division campaign has been playing in Spain for Ponferradina since February 2024.

He is a product of the Sheffield Wednesday youth system and featured in their U21 side before being loaned out to the Nailers in January last year.
