The Nailers have started to rebuild their squad in readiness for the forthcoming campaign.

The emphasis in the early stages is to secure the signatures of the players who have been identified by manager Lee Attenborough as those he wishes to retain from last season.

Among the first draft of signatures to be secured are those of Sidik Atcha and Dan Moore who had already indicated their willingness to commit for another season, while Mason Warren, who had an impressive first campaign for the Nailers has also agreed to stay at the Raygar Stadium.

Kevin Bastos, last season’s top goal scorer has confirmed he will have a further season with Belper after exercising an option on his contract to stay to the end of the 2024/25 campaign.

Another key player, who has also been a popular figure with Nailers’ supporters, Curtis Burrows has also confirmed that he will be representing the Nailers again next season.

Two youngsters who were prominent with some impressive performances last term will remain at the Raygar for the forthcoming campaign.

Lewis Austin enjoyed an increasing amount of game time as last season progressed joins Toby Gregory, who waited patiently for his full debut, and manager Lee Attenborough was keen to keep hold of the promising youngsters.

Further negotiations with members of last season squad are currently underway while the Nailers hope to announce some exciting new signings that have already committed to join the club in the summer.
