Barwell who the Nailers have played friendlies against in recent seasons have dropped out of the Southern League Premier Central form part of next season’s line as do St Ives Town who were relegated with Barwell.

Four promoted teams from Step 5 join the Midland Division with Grantham Town the most familiar club to Nailers’ supporters. They won their United Counties League (UCL) Premier North play off against Newark Town.

Boston Town come up as champions of the UCL North while Nuneaton Town were champions of the UCL South and make the step up to the Northern Premier.
Coventry United earned promotion from the UC South by winning their play off final against

Atherstone Town and replaced their city rivals Coventry Sphinx who were consigned to relegation.

These allocations are subject to appeals, and any amendments will be confirmed in due course.

One significant change to the promotion protocol next season is that there will be six play off places up for grabs with one automatic promotion slot.
