The club has invested heavily in beefing up it's building flood protection systems and that investment has paid dividends in the recent flood conditions.

Although the pitches were submerged by rising flood water, the main building escaped damage due to the installation of flood panels on doors and air vents.

These together with sealing plugs installed in building sewer outlet pipes, prevented water from accessing the buildings and preventing damage similar to that which caused major problems in November 2019.
