
Tommy will be assisted by Jon Froggatt, the Nailers current team captain and who was the Club’s leading goal scorer with 30 goals last season.
A UEFA A Licence coach, Taylor made 981 professional apprearances in a career spanning 18 years, with the highlights being an FA Cup Winners medal with West Ham United in 1975 and a UEFA Cup runners-up medal with the Hammers the following season. A Championship medal with Leyton Orient also has a place in Tommy’s trophy cabinet along with his full England cap and 23 England Under 23 caps
Taylor has also played professionally for Team Hawaii and on the continent for AFC Beerschott in Belgium prior to his first managerial stint with a three-year spell at FC Waikto in New Zealand.
His extensive management and coaching record speaks for itself with suceessful early career spells with the Youth team at Charlton Athletic, then as the first team manager at Cambridge United, Leyton Orient and Darlington
Tommy joined Kings Lynn in 2004 where he won the Southern League Cup and leaving the Linnets top of the league after being enticed to become assistant manager at Peterborough United firstly under Keith Alexander and then Darren Ferguson.
Tommy then moved on as manager at Boston United in 2007, where he first crossed paths with his new assistant, Jon Froggatt whilst in recent seasons he been on the international stage, coaching theTanzania, Under 18s team, the Grenada International team and he has also recently had a coaching spell in India.
