In a game where Belper Town looked to gain traction upon their last game they went to Ossett United to try and seal their first win for the season.
On arrival they were met with a physical team who decided early the game was going to be a scrap till the final whistle.
Ossett opened the scoring early with an outside the box finish from their right back , the scoring then took a brief hiatus until the second half where they then scored another to make it 2-0 , Leslie Gumede then pulled one back in the dying embers of the match to keep Belper in it , however the effort was then halted as Ossett scored one more on the counter to seal the game.
A disappointing result as the young lads looked to make a positive run but they look onto their next game against Witton with a better understanding of their own weaknesses.
