The match between Belper and Witton being their 3rd meeting of the season began slowly with Belper having injuries just about all over the pitch including sickness and strains which put them on the back foot before the first whistle was blown.
Witton took an early 1-0 lead in the first half with Bobby Taylor suffering a heavy blow to the face resulting in Dylan Tomlinson having to step up and don the gloves.
Within 30 seconds of this being done Witton whipped a cross in and headed it home to make it 2-0,then late on in the second half Tyrell Evans scored a confusing goal where all the defenders seemed to just stop and allow him to score.
That one goal being the only real bright spark throughout as Belper seemed to be stuck in their own half defending for the majority.
Their unbeaten run to the year ends as they suffer heavily but they look to recover and rebuild for their next fixture.
