With new striker Tyrell Waite going straight into the starting lineup and Jerome Greaves making a return to the Nailers, hopes were high, that between them a goal or two might be forthcoming.

The former Rugby Borough striker had a difficult start to his Nailers career spurning at least four guilt edged opportunities which would have put Belper far and away ahead of their hosts.

Games on 3G pitches are generally fast flowing, and this was no different with the contest played at a frantic pace throughout.
Jack Edwards put over an excellent cross in the 10th minute that just failed to reach a yellow shirt.

Waite miss hit his shot from six yards in the 17th minute then the Nailers succumbed to a speedy break by the Colemen on 32 minutes and Ben Usher-Shipway drilled the ball into the far corner to give Coleshill the advantage.

Waite should have brought the Nailers level when he was through on goal two minutes later, but he shot went straight to Cameron Belford and the opportunity was lost.

The Nailers were back on level terms in the 36th minute when Louis Keenan was first to react to a loose ball following a corner kick and tucked it away neatly just inside the post.

The hosts finished the half strongly with Charlie Manners forcing Kieron Preston into his only save of the night with a header, then in added time Daniel Gyasi struck a low shot just past the far post.

The Colemen had the better of the first fifteen minutes after the break, but the Nailers coped well then Josh Mansell livened things up with a thirty-five yarder that struck the upright on 61 minutes.

Soon afterwards Waite found himself in space at the near post, but his shot cannoned off the upright and shortly afterwards he had another effort that missed the target.

Jerome Greaves came on in the 81st minute and showed some good touches and on 86 minutes used his height advantage to nod the ball into the path of Waite whose first time shot flew over the cross bar.

Deep into added time Jacob Gratton fizzed a left footed drive just past the far post and the Nailers had to settle for a point when it should really have been three.
