Rhys signed on loan for a second spell from Mickleover FC in March 2024 following an earlier permanent spell with the club. A former Barnsley full back Rhys can play either attacking midfield or left back. He made his name as part of the successful Ilkeston Town Under 18 squad, that had a run in the FA Youth Cup. Barnsley spotted his talent and signed him in 2015, but since his release he has played at Long Eaton United, Selston, Newark, Alfreton Town and Anstey Nomads.Squad
