A forward, Luke signed for the Nailers in the summer of 2024 from NPL Division One East rivals Stocksbridge Park Steels. He found the net 12 times last season in a tough campaign for the Steels and caused problems for the Belper defence in both fixtures. Manager Lee Attenborough was delighted to add him to the squad to bolster his attacking options. His career started at Chesterfield in 2018 with appearances in League Two, and from here he was sent out on loan to gain experience at various non-league clubs including fellow Derbyshire sides Matlock Town and Alfreton Town.
