No numbers on Arnold team sheet so only goal scorers and goalkeeper names can be matched up

Arnold started brightly and when #19 was played in by a long ball on four minutes, Maggie Buxton was out early to make a good save. Straight from the clearance Alice Faulding found herself a shooting opportunity but it went over the bar.

In the 13th minute Natasha Leach cut in from the right but found the side netting with her effort.

The hosts took the lead midway through the first half. Belper could only half clear a free kick and Leach was on hand to rifle home into the corner.

The Nailers levelled on 28 minutes when Mia Carnelley's free kick was volleyed home at close range by Phallon Symcox.

The final action of the half, just before the referee's whistle saw #19 put a free kick just over the bar.

It was a nightmare start to the second half for Belper who went behind within a couple of minutes of the restart. Leach found herself through on goal and produced a nice left foot finish past Buxton.

The response was instant, with Ella Boden scoring one of the goals of the season. She weaved her way through the Arnold defence before producing a fantastic finish to level the scores at 2-2.

Buxton was out quickly to block Leach on 50 minutes and she produced another good save in the 57th minute when Holly Gibson tried her luck after a one-two with Leach.

A minute after that Carnelley's cross found Boden and her header brought a good save out of Poppy Barritt.

After Arnold cleared that attack, Belper picked up possession again and won a corner. The unfortunate #19 deflected the ball into her own net and the Nailers were in front.

Carnelley's free kick went just over the bar 16 minutes from time and then a couple of minutes later Faulding crashed a long range shot off the crossbar.

The final goal came ten minutes from the end. Gibson took a free kick which evaded everyone and landed in the corner of the net.

There was still time for a couple of chances for Belper - on 83 minutes after Arnold could only half clear, Faulding's shot from the edge of the box went just wide then with two minutes left on the clock Faulding cut the ball back for Boden who saw her shot go over the bar.

A good result for Belper which with a bit more luck could have been even better, against a strong Arnold side who sit 2nd in the table.

Next week is the ultimate test for Belper who travel to Grimsby Town Academy - they sit top with nine wins from nine and have only conceded eight goals in the process.
