The Firsts had the opening opportunity within the first 30 seconds when Alice Faulding broke through down the left but her shot went across goal and narrowly wide.
Evie Jowett had the next chance on six minutes but Amy Taft was out to block her effort.
Jowett was through again on 16 minutes but uncharacteristically dragged her shot wide with the goal gaping.
Romy Sheppard had efforts from range a few seconds later and again in the 18th minute but the first one cleared the bar, with Taft saving the second.
The Reserves had their first opportunity on 24 minutes when Melissa Whitehead found Lauren Murfin but her shot was comfortably saved by Lucie Selby.
The Reserves took the lead on the half-hour mark. Nelly Hull did really well to battle her way through the Firsts defence and found a great finish in to the corner.
The Firsts battled straight back and after 33 minutes Hannah James picked out Tamsin Wilkins whose shot from just outside the penalty area was saved.
The tie was level a couple of minutes later. Jowett fed her strike partner Faulding who produced a confident early finish; a trademark Alice goal.
The turnaround was complete after 37 minutes when Faulding turned provider, her ball to Sheppard allowed the Firsts new signing to produce a rocket of a finish for her first goal in a Belper shirt.
It was 3-1 in the 39th minute when Faulding collected the ball and ran down the right wing before cutting in to finish past Taft.
A quick flurry of goals was completed four minutes before half-time, Jowett this time making sure of the finish to effectively put the tie beyond the Reserves.
It was nearly five just before the whistle, with Mia Carnelley's cross palmed away by Taft but falling to Hannah James. Her effort hit the post before Sheppard's effort was blocked.
The Reserves started the second half brightly and never looked like giving up. A great run from Katy Daly freed up some space for a pass to Bella Greaves but her effort was saved.
Then two minutes later, after the Firsts were unable to clear, Sammy Bennett tried her luck from the edge of the box but Selby made the save.
In the 55th minute, Jowett's cross was met by Sheppard who fired over then the hour mark saw Skye Sementysh-Wright get on the end of a Shannon Worrall corner but her header was blocked and the rebound half-volleyed over the bar.
Any lingering doubts went away on 62 minutes. Worrall's perfect long ball to Faulding allowed the Firsts striker to run on and blast home to complete her hat trick.
The Firsts were awarded a penalty after 66 minutes following a trip on Hannah James but Taft produced a fantastic save from Faulding's spot kick.
The final goal came in the 71st minute. Hannah James cut in from the right and produced an unstoppable left footed effort in to the corner.
The Reserves kept pushing and Murfin's long range free kick went just wide on 74 minutes before substitute Jess Burke saw her free-kick saved by Selby in the final minute of normal time.
A great day down at the Raygar Stadium, with mascots on both teams and plenty of money raised to support both sides going forward.
