The first half started poorly as Belper conceded from a corner in the first five minutes, only to completely turn the game on its head with three fantastic goals in response.

Jess Burke fired in her first goal of the season with a brilliant free kick from distance, quickly followed by a brilliant finish from Jess Needham who curled a sweet strike in past the Sleetmoor GK. Belper's brilliant first half was capped by Lauren Murfin who found space at the back post to fire a shot into the roof of the net. Half time 3-1.

The second half was a different story with Belper starting slowly. Sleetmoor scored two quick goals early in the second half and imposed themselves on the game, taking a 4-3 lead. Belper hit back again with Lauren Murfin going on a brilliant solo run and firing a left footed shot past the Sleetmoor GK for 4-4. Sleetmoor regained the lead and despite 10 minutes of late Belper pressure they held on to condemn Belper to defeat. Plenty of positives including four brilliant goals.
