Despite a bright opening to the match where Belper played all the football, Stanton Ilkeston scored with their first attack after 15 mins.
This unsettled the Nailers and with the slope in their favour the home side found another gear and by half time they were 4-0 up, despite Belper finishing the half as they had begun it.
The second half was more evenly matched but Stanton Ilkeston scored a further two goals before Belper snatched a consolation near the end from a corner, Sophia Beeston applying pressure to the Stanton Ilkeston defender who scored an unfortunate own goal.
So a tough day at the office but this group never gives up and plenty still left to play for in the two remaining fixtures.
