Belper started brightly with Lauren Murfin finding Elisha Billyeald on five minutes, her shot was wide then a few moments later Cara Kington picked out Billyeald who chipped the goalkeeper but saw the ball cleared off the line.
Draycott took the lead on ten minutes. After a shot hit the crossbar, Hannah Bloomfield was on hand to tap home.
In the 22nd minute they went close again, a great through ball put them through one on one with stand-in goalkeeper Gina Lowe who produced a fantastic save.
The lead was doubled a couple of minutes later. Following a corner, Lowe was unable to gather the ball and Rachel Mee was on hand to score.
On 33 minutes they went close again, another good ball through but another good save from Lowe.
A mistake at the back in the 36th minute allowed Draycott to make it three. Mee got her second of the afternoon after a pass from Ferris.
The fourth goal arrived a minute before the end of regulation time in the first half. After Belper couldn't clear a corner, Bloomfield fired home to give the Nailers a second half mountain to climb.
There was still time for another, two minutes into stoppage time when a great long range effort from Ferris eluded Lowe.
It was Draycott who started the second half the stronger of the two sides, going close with a free-kick on 46 minutes and then forcing Belper's second stand-in goalkeeper of the day, Lauren Murfin in to a smart save.
It was six-nil in the 52nd minute when Farrah O'Connor got on the end of a great through ball and produced a great finish.
Three minutes later they went close again but the shot was wide, as was that on the hour mark.
The final goal arrived in the 68th minute. Jo Campbell rounded Murfin and slotted in to an empty net to make it seven.
Belper had a chance five minutes later with great play between Jess Burke and Ellie Froggatt who saw her shot go wide.
With two minutes remaining, Burke did well to create a shooting opportunity for herself but saw it come off the bar and Belper were denied a consolation goal.
So Draycott win the DGLL Plate, congratulations to them.
For the Nailers, it's been a tough season in the league and this was always going to be a difficult game but the signs in recent weeks are nothing but positive
