Mason joined the Nailers from Basford United just before the 2023/24 registration deadline. The 6'3" centre-back joined Basford in September 2023 and went on to make 25 appearances in all competitions, scoring once. A former Gresley Rovers player, he featured 91 times for the Moatmen, winning the Manager’s Player of the Season in the 2021/22. He has also played locally for Kimberley Miners Welfare and DunkirkSquad
