23-year-old Jacob first returned to the Nailers in August 2024 after a season away playing for Whitby Town.He joined his boyhood club Rotherham United aged nine.
In August 2021 he joined Guiseley on loan, during which he was allowed to be a part of the Rotherham United squad for the EFL Trophy, making his first team debut for the club as a substitute in a 6-0 victory over Doncaster Rovers in September 2021.
His loan spell with Guiseley ended in January 2022.
He then joined Farsley Celtic on loan helping the side avoid relegation before signing for the Nailers the first time around.
After leaving in the first half of the 24/25 season, Lee Attenborough brought him back to the Raygar Stadium in August 2025 to add further quality to the attack.
